KindredSPIRITS is pleased to announce that singer/songwriter, Roslyn Kind and jazz great David Benoit will join Celtic recording artist Eric Rigler, and special smooth jazz musical guests in an all-star concert for humanitarian aid to be held at Disney Hall, Sunday, June 12, 2011. This event also features returning musical artist, Ilan Davidson, the LA Jewish Symphony under the direction of Dr. Noreen Green, and Faithful Central Bible Church’s 60 voice gospel choir.
This year’s concert beneficiary is International Medical Corps, a global humanitarian, non-profit organization dedicated to saving lives and relieving suffering by rehabilitating devastated health care systems and bringing communities back to self-reliance.
In addition, KindredSPIRITS’ special honoree for 2011 is the legendary Carlos Santana, whose lifelong devotion to social activism and humanitarian causes is highlighted in his ongoing commitment to The Milagro Foundation, which he founded with his family, ANSA: Artists for New South Africa, and Architects of a New Dawn, among many others.
